The popular Reinhard Bonnke Crusade under the platform of Christ for All Nations (CfaN) is storming Abuja the nation’s capital city for the Great Gospel Crusade.

The crusade, scheduled to hold in November 6-10, 2024 would be led by Evangelist Daniel Kolenda, the successor of the late Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke.

This was made known to journalists by the Africa Executive Director of Christ for All Nations, Rev John Darku during a press conference in Abuja.

According to him, “This is not just a crusade; it is an investment in the future of Abuja. It is about planting seeds of hope, nurturing them with the power of the Gospel, and witnessing a vibrant harvest of faith blossom throughout the city.”

He hinted that the CfaN would work with the various the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and leaders of the various churches to mobilise people to attend the crusade, which anticipate a significant number of people coming to know Christ for the first time. Witnessing the power of the Gospel firsthand, hearts will be opened, and lives will be transformed.

He said, “I stand before you today brimming with excitement and a deep sense of gratitude as we reflect on a golden milestone for Christ for All Nations (CfaN) – a staggering 50 years of unwavering commitment to spreading the Gospel message across the globe. This year, as we commemorate this incredible anniversary, the word that resonates most deeply is impact. Over the past five decades, we have witnessed countless lives touched, communities transformed, and the flames of faith ignited in hearts all around the world. It is truly humbling.

“But, as remarkable as this journey has been, it does not end here. Instead, we stand on the cusp of a new chapter, and that is precisely why we are gathered today. In November, we will set our sights on Abuja, Nigeria, for a grand crusade unlike any other—a Salvation, Healing, and Deliverance Crusade that will take place from November 6-10, 2024.

“Now, some of you might be wondering—why Abuja? Why now? Let me tell you, this city is a vibrant tapestry, a cultural crossroads teeming with potential. It is a place where hope and opportunity collide, creating a fertile ground where the seeds of faith can blossom magnificently. This crusade isn’t just an event; it is a spark—one we believe has the power to ignite a wildfire of spiritual awakening, sweeping through Abuja and leaving an indelible mark for generations to come.

“As we prepare for this monumental event, we also look back on the legacy that has brought us here. The late Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, a man of unwavering faith and vision, began his ministry in the small town of Maseru, Lesotho, in 1969. What started as a humble mission soon became a divine mandate that ignited the flames of evangelism across the African continent and beyond. With his wife Anni by his side, Bonnke spent seven formative years in Lesotho, where God shaped and molded his character, preparing him for the immense task ahead. It was during this time that God gave Reinhard a vision of an Africa washed in the precious blood of Jesus Christ—a vision that seemed impossible at the time but one that Reinhard held onto with unwavering faith.

“In 1974, this vision birthed the evangelistic organization known today as Christ for All Nations (CfaN). Through Reinhard Bonnke’s obedience to God’s call, CfaN has seen millions of lives transformed by the Gospel, with countless souls saved, healed, and delivered. Bonnke’s early ministry in Botswana, where he preached to a small gathering of 100 people in a stadium, saw miraculous healings and deliverance, marking the beginning of an extraordinary journey. This journey led to the construction of the famous “Big Tent,” which could seat 34,000 people, and eventually to open-air crusades where hundreds of thousands gathered to hear the Gospel.

“One such crusade in Lagos, Nigeria, saw a staggering 1.6 million people attend a single meeting, with over 6 million souls attending over five days. Since the year 2000 alone, over 52 million people have responded to the call of salvation through the ministry of CfaN. And today, the legacy of Reinhard Bonnke continues through the anointed ministry of Evangelist Daniel Kolenda.

“Evangelist Kolenda, Reinhard Bonnke’s successor, has taken up the mantle with great dedication and passion. Under his leadership, CfaN has expanded its reach beyond Africa, conducting crusades in Asia, South America, and other parts of the world, where multitudes have encountered the saving power of Jesus Christ.

“As we gather here today, I want to share more about the benefits of the upcoming crusade in Abuja. The salvation of souls will bring profound social and cultural transformation to Nigeria, fostering a mindset geared toward the development of our nation. For instance, when an armed robber experiences salvation, he ceases to be a liability to society and instead begins to contribute positively to it. Moral transformation will also safeguard the future of our youth, enabling them to become creative and competitive in the global environment.

“Moreover, dignitaries from all over the world will accompany Evangelist Daniel Kolenda to Nigeria for this Gospel Crusade. Some of these dignitaries are investors who will identify potential areas for investment, thus boosting the Nigerian economy. With participants expected from every part of Nigeria, this crusade will stimulate commercial activities in the capital. As millions respond to become Christians, we anticipate a reduction in crime rates and an adoption of Christian values of discipline and hard work, which will positively impact our economy.

“But the true power of this crusade lies far beyond the event itself. We envision it as a catalyst—a spark that ignites a transformative fire within Abuja. Imagine a wave of evangelism washing over the city, a groundswell of faith that touches individuals, families, and entire communities. Here is a glimpse of the **impact we hope to achieve**:

– Conversions: We anticipate a significant number of people coming to know Christ for the first time. Witnessing the power of the Gospel firsthand, hearts will be opened, and lives will be transformed.

– Strengthened Faith: This crusade will not just reach new believers; it will also serve to reignite the flames of faith within existing Christians. Imagine a renewed sense of purpose and a collective spirit of worship sweeping through the city.

– Ripple Effect: The impact will not be contained within the crusade grounds. We envision a ripple effect where newfound faith and enthusiasm energize families and communities. Imagine strengthened marriages, more Christ-centered parenting, and a renewed sense of purpose and service throughout Abuja.

– Legacy of Hope: This crusade aspires to leave a lasting legacy of hope in its wake. We envision a transformed city—a place where the presence of God is more deeply felt, where communities thrive on shared values, and where the light of faith continues to illuminate the path forward for generations to come.

*This is not just a crusade; it is an investment in the future of Abuja. It is about planting seeds of hope, nurturing them with the power of the Gospel, and witnessing a vibrant harvest of faith blossom throughout the city.

*So, I invite all of you to join us from November 6-10, 2024, here in Abuja, for what promises to be an extraordinary time of divine encounter. Let us come together to witness the mighty works of God and to continue the legacy of a man who, through faith and obedience, saw a continent transformed.”

“Thank you, and may God bless you all.”
