Community service development team, the Yala urban youths under the aegis of Impact Foundation For Youth Development has concluded arrangement to host its first maiden edition of ‘Project 1000’ conference in Abuja on Saturday, June 9, 2018.
The development service team led by its mobilisation manager, Tony Ochelebe who disclosed this in an exclusive chat on Thursday said, stakeholders from all levels of government will witness the conference in Abuja June 9, Calabar August 7, and Okuku Yala, on August 28, 2018 respectively.
Ochelebe said the project1000 which continues to operate an open door policy is geared towards getting the young people of Yala in Cross River State to work on exciting community service projects with one another that would foster peace and strengthen the bond amongst the different clans.
He stated that the aim of the conference is to restore lost bond, prioritise the needs of the people and create an enabling environment for youths in various fields.
He also noted that the project 1000 is a solution driven forum development which identifies the need of the people per time and guide their aspirants and elected officials to work with as a blue print.
He commended this news platform for lending her voice to issues of community development, human right, social justice, thus making the society better.
