The combine team of officers of the Nigerian police and army on highway patrol have intercepted a bus carrying a coffin laden with arms and ammunition heading to Ondo State from Lagos.
It took the smartness and intelligence of the highway patrol team to suspect foul and insisted on doing thorough check and to see the content of the coffin, which led to the discovery of the cache if arms and ammunition hidden inside the coffin.
Kue Barinor Paul in a Facebook post said, “The commuters in the bus disguised as if they were going for burial
“Not all coffins carries corpse. Some are used to carry instruments of death.
“These folks were intercepted on their way from Lagos to Ondo, conveying ammunition under the guise of burial.”
