The wife of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo will be the Special Guest of Honour at the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission’s Greater Women Pilgrimage Convocation scheduled for 21st September, 2017 at the National Women Development Centre, Garki, Abuja. She would equally present the keynote address at the occasion.
The Executive Secretary of NCPC, Rev. Tor Uja confirmed this in Abuja. He explained that Mrs Osinbajo has graciously accepted to grace the occasion so as to give women the needed support and encouragement towards the mobilization of Greater Women Pilgrimage slated for May next year.
The women convocation, which is a one day event, is expected to draw female church leaders, wives of church leaders and other leading Christian women.
He explained that in readiness for the Greater Women Pilgrimage Convocation, the Commission had held two Strategic Women leadership meetings on how to make the Women Convocation a success and more importantly on mobilizing for Women Pilgrimage to Israel next year.
Rev. Uja commended the Nigerian Women for their zeal and passion to advance the cause of Women Pilgrimage. He further said that Nigerian women are pace-setters in the world, and are distinctive in life style, ministry and leadership.
He urged all Nigerian Christian women to key into the NCPC Women Pilgrimage Programme which will surely bring the women together under one umbrella and strengthen them in their roles in these last days.
The Women Pilgrimage Programme of NCPC is designed for women in all cadres, including professionals, clergy, political office holders and women who would want to have a unique spiritual encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Land.
