The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Rev Yakubu Pam has said that Nigeria would rise again.
He disclosed this in Jos on Sunday, in a statement by the Commission’s Head, Media and Public Relations, Celestine Toruka, during a church service for the dedication of the daughter of the pastor of the Assembly of God Church, Northern Nigeria at Bukuru Express, Jos, Pastor Sadiq Adams .
Rev Pam affirmed that through the church their would be transformation in Nigeria.
He admonished Christians to go into politics and come out with something meaningful that would be used to lmpact the people positively.
He NCPC helmsman further stressed that the church of tomorrow would not suffer because the younger church leaders should be encouraged to take over the mantle of leadership in the church.
The NCPC helmsman, who is also the General Superintendent of the Assembly of God Church , Northern Nigeria, tasked pastors on commitment and loyalty which according to him are qualities of good leadership in the church .
He stated that “the greatest work of pastorate is not about preaching only on Sunday, but what happens before Sunday”.
He urged the younger pastors to emulate those who are humble.
The NCPC boss while dedicating the pastor,s daughter to God made reference to the. Book of Psalms , chapter one .
