Nigeria Glo Customers Count Loses Over Network Failure

Subscribers of Globacom network nationwide on Tuesday experienced difficulties in using their Glo line to make or receive voice calls, send SMS or their data due to alleged network failure.

But the development, which compelled some Glo users to resort to other available networks to carry out their phone uses, did not go well with other Nigerians who did not have alternative lines.

Some of the Glo customers took to their social media via their other network lines to express their disappointment over the sudden network failure. The incident began at about 3pm and was not resolved at press time.

From Calabar to Zamfara, Jos to Lagos and Port Harcourt to Kano, the situation was the same, as many Glo subscribers could not reach their loved ones nor use their data to access their mails and other social media platforms.

The customers, who called on the management of the indigenous telecommunications network providers to quickly fix whatever technical challenge responsible for the network failure also called for the timely intervention of the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) to save them from the continued hardship as a result of the network problem.

Efforts to get the reaction of the officials of the telecoms firm proved abortive due to the lingering network failure as at the time of filing this report.
