The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Mr. John Kennedy Opara, has urged students of Premier Academy on the need to demonstrate the life of Christ by showing love to God and fellow students.
He gave this charge while playing host to some students of Premier Academy, Lugbe, Abuja who were on excursion at the NCPC Corporate Headquarter, with their Head teacher.
Mr. Opara posited that the successes the Commission has recorded over the years were based on four core values of the Commission: Commitment to Christ, Synergy, Integrity and Professional Excellence. He added that prayer has also been an essential tool and urged them to pray. According to him, “Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength”
He further urged the students to be determined by setting goals of what they hoped to achieve and working towards them. In his words “Determine in your mind to always be a success”
The NCPC Helmsman appreciated the team for their visit and prayed for greater years ahead for the students.
Earlier, the Head teacher, Mrs. Mobolaji Foluke, explained that the purpose of their visit was to know more about Jesus, Pilgrimage and to learn about some Holy sites in Israel.
She affirmed that the visit had exposed them to a new understanding of the Holy Land and the importance of pilgrimage.
She described the Executive Secretary as a man of excellence and appreciated him for granting them audience.
