NCPC Boss Receives Award Of Most Resourceful Executive Secretary

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Dr Yakubu Pam has received an award of the most effective, proactive and resourceful Executive Secretary in Nigeria by the Nigeria House of Dream Parliament on 6th October, 2022 at the NCPC corporate headquarters, Abuja.

Rev. Pam in his remarks, thanked the team for the award given to him. In his words ,“I lack words to express my joy and happiness to the fact that we have people like you who research on what public office holders like us are doing and come up with an assessment”.

The NCPC helmsman commended the members of the Nigeria House of Parliament for the sacrifices they are making towards the development of the country. According to him , “we will join hands with you and work together to build a better Nigeria”.

The No 1 Christian Pilgrim Officer of the Federation informed that the Commission is saddled with the responsibility of taking Christian pilgrims to the Holy sites around the world.

He hinted that the commission has just concluded its pilgrimage exercise to Israel and the Kingdom of Jordan which was a great success with 2,500 thousand pilgrims airlifted.

The Executive Secretary further disclosed that pilgrimage to Rome would commence soon. He further disclosed that the Commission is set to explore the holy sites in Turkey.

Earlier, the leader of delegation, Hon. Mike Egilamatics Egila, commended the Executive Secretary for his contributions and dedication towards his past and present positions.

According to him, “we are here to appreciate you for your immense contributions in the following appointments as Chairman Plateau State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Member internally displaced persons (IDP) Council, Member Plateau State Education Board and presently the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission”.

He informed that the Executive Secretary is worthy of this award because he has visibly contributed to the development of the country, “gone are the days when it is said that your reward is in heaven, if you do well you will be rewarded here on earth”, adding that “you have done very well that is why we are rewarding you”.

Hon. Egila charged the Executive Secretary to continue his good works as he would be remembered by his deeds. In his words “A lot of people most especially the people of Plateau state appreciate your doggedness;, continue to do what you know how to do best because lots of the people are watching”, he said.
