LEGISLATIVE SCORECARD IN 8TH SENATE: The Four Bills Sponsored By Distinguished Sen. (Dr) Mrs. Rose Okoji Oko (Cross River North – PDP) are:
1. Bill for an Act to amend the Nigeria Sovereign Investment authority to align it with the 1999 Constitution, restore the sovereignty of the Natural as the National currency, ensure transparency of its funding and entrench parliamentary accountability and for other matters connected therewith.
2. Bill for an Act to establish the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, provide for the engagement of Nigerians in Diaspora in the policies, projects and participation in the development of Nigeria and for the purpose of utilising the human, capital and material resources of Nigerians in Diaspora towards the overall socioeconomic, cultural and political development of Nigeria, and for other matters related thereto.
3. Cassava Flour (Mandatory inclusion in flour production) Bill 2016
4. Bill for an Act to amend the Central Bank of Nigeria Act 2007 to ensure transparency and accountability in the operations of the bank and subject intervention advances to the approval of the National Assembly and for related matters.
