The Nigeria Army on Tuesday said Col S Imus who was kidnapped on Sunday was found dead.
The army authorities made the announcement in a tweet post via its Twitter handle @HQNigeriaArmy.
The tweet reads, “NA wishes to regrettably inform the public that Col S Imus who was kidnapped on Sunday 27/3/16 was found dead today.”
It could be recalled that when the kidnap news broke out on Sunday, army authorities released some phone lines to the public for information concerning the incident.
Army authorities also when further to place N1 million cash prize for information from the public.
May his soul rest in peace. May God give his family, the Nigeria Army and the country in general the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Also may God guide security agencies to track down the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
