CSO Slams NCAM over what it termed “the failure of the organization to keep to acceptable standards of transparency“.

The Generational Citizens for Better Leadership Initiative, a Civil Society organization, has criticized the management of the National Center for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM),  over what it termed “the failure of the organization to keep to acceptable standards of transparency “.
In a written statement signed by the Director of projects of the organization and made available to the press on Tuesday in Abuja, the leadership of the organization informed the press that the organization, “in the spirit of promoting transparency in governance according to the vision and posturing of President Buhari“, is determined to champion the reform of public service to serve Nigerians.
The organization stated that they “are concerned that NCAM has continued to carry on as though the term ‘public’ is no longer associated with the organization”. Noting that they wrote a freedom of formation request to the management of NCAM and they are yet to receive a response.
The organization pointed out that they would be embarking on a vigorous campaign for the anti-corruption agencies to do the needful,  even as they will be proceeding to court against NCAM.
The organization also called on Nigerians to organize and demand the best of services from public institutions, assuring that the organization will continue to support all efforts to make the public service work to deliver a better life for Nigerians.
