…says well deserved; will be game changer bringing new hope

As members of All Progressives Congress, APC, Cross River State Chapter trooped out en mass to vote new executives of the party at the State congresses last Saturday, Senator Stephen Odey, Tuesday, hailed the emergence of Alphonsus Ogar Eba Esq as Chairman of the party.
This was contained in a congratulatory message signed by him, where he described the election of Eba as well deserved, because he (Eba) is a game changer who has come to galvanise the party and give new hope to the party and people of Cross River State ahead of the 2023 general elections in the State.
The statement reads in part, “The unity and strength of our great party was proven to the world on Saturday 16 October 2021, as our delegates gave a resounding voice vote to endorse the election of a new executives of our great party. I congratulate our father and leader of the party and Governor, His Excellency, Sir Ben Ayade for showing leadership and bringing all stakeholders together for a successful congress.
“I seize this opportunity to congratulate our newly elected State Chairman, my brother, friend and learned colleague, Alphonsus Ogar Eba Esq and other notable executive members.
“I see his emergence as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Cross River State, our dear state as the best and right step in the right direction.
“He has over the years proven to be a politician with uncommon disposition, calculation, vision and understanding one can hardly come across in this State and country.
“I know including all progressive minds in the State that Eba will make a great difference as he steers the affairs of our great party before, during and after the 2023 general elections being a man of great experience and strategies.
“So, there is no gainsaying that there won’t be challenges but I encourage him to keep his head high above the waters, and I and other great progressives pledge our unwavering support to ensure he succeeds and take our great party to the next level of victory, stability, peace and unity.”
Meanwhile, he described the victory as well deserved and timely as politicking in the state is increasing in different dimensions.
He also appreciated leaders and members of the party for the unique maturity and good conduct demonstrated before and during the elections without any rancour but brotherliness displayed to the whole world.
He also urged them to keep high spirits of believing in the party’s leadership at the ward, state and national levels whereby they will also go out to bring in more members to join the party.
Recall that Alphonsus Ogar Eba Esq emerged the new All Progressives Congress, Chairman, in Cross River State by a Consensus vote on Saturday 16th October, 2021 in Calabar the State capital.
