One Nigeria is Possible Initiative having carefully examined the arguments advanced by the personalities behind the recent calls for a so called revolution, is calling on Nigerians to disregard these diversionary elements.
Those calling for a Revolution are downright unpatriotic, as what Nigeria needs at this point in time is unity to fight our common enemies which are corruption, insecurity and others hindering the collective progress and peace of our dear country.
The government of the day had admitted how bad things were when it took over, and has been working assiduously to plug the loopholes in governance and citizens’ orientation.
A cursory examination of of the characters behind this call reveals a streak of people that have fallen out of favour in the political space, and they resort to destabilize our country.
Some of those calling for revolution, even have dual citizenship should anything goes wrong in Nigeria they will be the first to get out with their families. Nigerians must resist the deceit of this conclave of desperate power mongers who are seeking relevance and a return to the days when government purse was converted to private storehouse.
As patriotic citizens we must all come together to join hands with government and all other relevant stakeholders to take Nigeria to greater heights.
the group further warned any group or persons trying to cause confusion and division within the people of Nigeria to henceforth desist from such.
The One Nigeria is Possible movement will be holding zonal solidarity walk across the six geo political zones of the country on a yet to be announced date to Garner the support of citizens and condemn the action of the people calling for revolution.
The revolution has begun and the best revolutions are those that take place through dialogue and compromise over a long period of time. This ragtag hurriedly cobbled movement does not in any way reflect the best of us and cannot be relied upon to bring succour to our people.
