TRIBUTE TO THE LATE JOY OGBENE ODAMA: JUSTICE MUST PREVAIL
The late Joy was one lady and sister, who was set out to make a difference among her peers against all odds. Her formative years were characterized by a success instinct persona with the hopeful look and charisma that she carried and displayed.
She was indeed the joy of her parents, friends and acquaintances. She gave her name a practical meaning with the exuberance she exuded. She lighten every where she found herself and transmitted the exciting energy that followed her.
The late Joy, it was gathered, led, took charge and indeed controlled things and with her joyful smile and soothing voice, others can’t but gladly follow. Her sudden demise in the most horrendous way shattered not only the hopes of her family, but that of her friends and admirers.
Her gruesome murder by an assailant, was a major setback to all who looked up to her, but are consoled by the quintessential life she lived during her sojourn her on earth.
The late Joy Ogbene Odama, was a dogged fighter and a determined change agent set to change the narrative of her unpleasant upbringing. No wonder even in her death her killers has not known peace.
Before her death she was only known within her sphere of influence, but today her name evokes the call for justice everywhere it is being mentioned. The hashtag used to draw the attention of the world to her cold blood murder #Justice4JoyOdama reverberates and puts fear in the hearts of her killers.
As her remains is being buried, her killers must know that the agitation for justice has gained the momentum that will bring them down. They must be brought to book no matter how long they fritter around with the course of justice.
May her kind soul Rest In Peace in the bosom of the Lord where we will meet to part no more. And may her dear parents and friends find solace in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
