The Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, CON, has met with the United Young Farmers Forum (UYFF) at the Minister’s Conference Hall of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, FCT, Abuja.
The forum is an association of young dynamic farmers with over 500,000 members fully represented in the 36 states of the federation and FCT, Abuja.
Led by its President, Beegreat Wilson Bolaji Orimadegun, who spoke, “the UYFF is a defined and dedicated movement of Nigerian youths mobilising Nigerian youths into various Agricultural value chains.”
“The mission is to represent, mobilise, and engage young Farmers in Nigeria to ensure their success with our guiding principle being to support practices, initiatives, and polices that will sustain young independent and prosperous farmers now and in the future.”
Also with the group is Elder OLORUNNIWO Sunday Alani who’s the Patron of the Forum.
In his response, the Honorable Minister extended his warm regards to all members of the United Young Farmers Forum. “I am pleased to have had the privilege of meeting with you in my office at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.”
“Your dedication and dynamic approach to agriculture are commendable. With over 500,000 members across all 36 states of the federation and FCT, Abuja, you represent a significant force in the agricultural sector.”
“I appreciate your mission to mobilize and engage young farmers in various agricultural value chains. Your commitment to supporting practices, initiatives, and policies that sustain young, independent, and prosperous farmers is aligned with our shared vision for the sector’s prosperity.”
“I assure you of the Ministry’s continued support in creating an enabling environment for the success of young farmers in Nigeria. Together, we can realize a thriving and sustainable agricultural sector for the benefit of our nation.” He said.
