Following the release of some appointments by the Digital Governor of Cross River State, Sir Ben Ayade, Abuja based Cross Riverians yesterday convened in honour of one of the newly appointed Special Adviser to the Governor on Grants and Empowerment, Hon Francis Peters at the popular IC World Centre at Gwarimpa, Abuja.
Notable personalities at the occasion includes, Front line Yala Chairmanship aspirant Barrister Godwin Offionor, AMAC Supervisory Councilor for Finance, Budget and Investment, Hon Gabriel Bravo Oluohu, GM IC World Hon Prince George Ogonyi.
Others include a Yala chairmanship hopeful and founder, Charles Offoboche Foundation Hon Charles Offoboche, an aide to the Senate President of the 8th Assembly, Sir Ogar Wodah, a seasoned mediapreneur and publisher of theleaderng.com, Mr. Ebriku John Friday, Engr Ogar Joseph Odey, Mr Iyaji Peterpepson Wonah, Mr Sunday Odey, Queen Mary Onokome Obadofin, Mr Odey Charles, Ferdinand Oddys (aka Alhaji) amongst others.
The occasion was filled with glee, show of love, advise, accolades, merry making and showers of praises, entertainment and above all prayers for the appointee.
Hon. Francis Peters in his remark said grace found him therefore he is most grateful to God almighty.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Digital Governor of Cross River State for finding him worthy of consideration as a member of his cabinet and pledge his allegiance to support the Governor in ensuring that all Cross Riverians enjoy the dividends of democracy.
He thank those who came to celebrate with him for creating time out of their busy schedules to show him love.
He further said, It is a known fact that the Governor Ben Ayade’s led administration is a youth friendly administration right from his first tenure. This is evident in the inclusion of youths in his cabinet. May God grant His Excellency Sir Ben Ayade the grace to lead Cross River State to eldorado.
