The Cross River State Chairman of the ruling All progressives Congress (APC), Alphonsus Ogar Eba Esq, JP, has urged Muslim faithful in Cross River State to infuse the virtues and spiritual benefits of Ramadan including love, peace and justice to their daily living as these will contribute to the development of the State.
In a message circulated on social media by his media wing, the Plug Media to mark the beginning of this year’s Ramadan, Eba said that this year’s Ramadan was coming at a time Cross River and Nigeria needed our prayers.
Eba thanked the Muslim faithful for their sacrifices and prayers for Cross River and the nation. He charged all Muslims faithful to use this time for sober reflection and pray for peace, unity and progress of Cross River State and Nigeria.
“As we begin this year’s Ramadan, it is my hope and prayer that Ramadan’s spiritual lessons and the Holy Prophet’s teachings of piety, love, justice, fairness, equity, peaceful co-existence with others, tolerance, honesty and dedication to duty will remain with us all for the benefit and greater glory of our dear State and Nation.”
