Expanded data collection and analysis provides better understanding of HIV epidemic in Nigeria Results released today by the Government of Nigeria indicate a national HIV prevalence in Nigeria of 1.4% among adults aged 15–49 years. Following the suspension of the use of Boeing 737-Max by some countries, experts have asked the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority to prevent the aircraft from operating in the country until concerns about it are addressed.
