The National Youth Council of Nigeria has threatened that it will expose persons, agencies of Government that are involved in Fraud and fiscal irregularities in the country.
Speaking to news men at a Pre Conference Press briefing on International Youth day, A day set aside by the United Nations to celebrate Young People in the World and harness their potential conference in Abuja, the National President of the Council, Amb Sukubo Seraigbe Sukubo disclosed that this year’s celebration Wil feature compilation of list of corrupt MDA’s and persons to be forwarded to Mr. President Muhammadu Buhari for Action and all related Anti Corruption agencies.
The National Youth Council of Nigeria are in receipt of petitions from our affiliate Youth organizations and we have thoroughly investigated some of the petitions. we shall submit the list of these persons and Government Agencies to media at the appropriate time and also submit a petition to relevant anti-graft agencies for necessary actions.
The President of council also noted that the Youth of Nigeria under his leadership Will not allow corruption which had hithatrtho distroy our economy to continue to have it’s way.
While Speaking further on the Nigerian Youth Investment fund, he said the Council has received nod from the Ministry of Youth to set up modalities and centers across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory and recommend credible youth to pilot the scheme.
As young people whose only Country is Nigeria, we shall join efforts with Mr President to build a stronger Soceity that we can all be proud of.
