Workers’ Day: Eba Salutes Cross River Workers, Says Your Labour Won’t Go In Vain

The Cross River State Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Alphonsus Ogar Eba Esq, JP has lauded the efforts of Cross River State workers on the occasion of this year’s International Workers’ Day.

Eba said Cross River State work force have paid their dues over the years, therefore, they deserved to be celebrated always, not just on Workers’ Day.

Recalling the sacrifices of the Cross River State workers, Eba said such would not go in vain, noting that they would continue to reap from their good works, adding they would not have been what it is today if not for their diligence, dedication and commitment at various levels.

He saluted them for their invaluable contributions to the growth and development of the state even as he urged them to do more for the betterment of the state.

“On this Workers’ Day, I wish all workers to be recognised and appreciated for their hard work and contributions to the development of society. I urge all leaders to honour and celebrate the hard work and dedication of working individuals in every field. The country will not be able to shine without workers.

“Today, we celebrate your hard work, dedication, and laudable efforts to our collective growth. May your labour yield abundant fruits, and may our state prioritize your welfare and wellbeing. Let us continue to work together towards a better Cross River for all,” Eba said.
