We Must Fight For Survival Of Nigeria – Rev Pam

The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission NCPC, Rev. Pam has said that the survival of Nigeria is very sacrosanct and thus every Nigerian must fight for its survival.

The NCPC boss made the assertion recently in Abuja while receiving in audience the leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students NANS who paid him a congratulatory visit.

He stated that the survival and wellbeing of Nigerians should not only be the business of the leaders, adding that the young people also have tremendous role to play because they are the one being influenced to carry out the biddings of our leaders positive or negative. According to the NCPC boss, “we will make sure there is unity, peace and prosperity in this country”.

Rev. Pam further averred that the future of Nigeria would look bright with the likes of the NANS leadership. He posited that with this good gospel of building a new Nigeria which NANS is projecting, there would be need to organize a synergy seminar to address issues of national concern.

He further stressed the need for strong advocacy to drive home the good intentions of NANS.

Rev. Pam pledged his support for the NANS leadership and their laudable programmes but not without a clause. According to him, ’I will give you a support but will give you a task’’. In his words;’’ let see how we can fight this and get a remedy for it’’.

The NCPC boss who described himself as a man of the grass root said he usually get sad when youths indulge themselves in vices and negative tendencies. According to him. ‘We can restore integrity, dignity and honour in our country’’.

Earlier, the national Vice President of NANS, Comrade Matthew Samani told the Executive Secretary that they were in NCPC to congratulate him for a well-deserved appointment.

He stressed that Rev. Pam had been consistently selfless and they have been following his track records even when he was the chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN Plateau state. According to him. ‘’We are confident of your capacity to deliver’’.

The highlight of the visit was the decoration of the Executive Secretary with the NANS five star General’s award and the presentation of a congratulatory frame.
