Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) has directed the conferment of award on the Director General of National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN), Ahmed Bolaji Nagode, and the official presentation of Bureau of Public Service Reforms Self-Assesment Tool deployed in the institute.
In a letter signed by Director General Bureau of Public Service Reforms Dasuki Ibrahim Arabi addressed to NAPTIN, the official presentation and conferment of award will take place monday.
The letter reads in parts: please kindly note that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, has directed the Director General Bureau of Public Service Reforms to lead the team that will conduct the official presentation and award of plague on his behalf.
The letter disclosed that the srlf-assessment tool was deployed in the institute in 2022, during which NAPTIN’s strenght, weakness and opportunities to improve were identified.
The Power Training Institute was set up by the Federal Government as man power breeding ground to tackle technical power sector challenges, and to equip new generation engineers to drive technical growth and development in the Nigeria Electricity Supply Industry NESI.
