The member representing Yala 1 State Constituency in Cross River State House of Assembly (CRSHA) and Deputy Whip, Rt. Hon. Regina Anyogo lend her voice in full support of the decision of the State Government to obtain a loan facility to empower 2000 women from Cross River State Northern Senatorial District.
Hon.Regina argued that since good governance is all about improving the lives of the people,approving the credit facility will go a long way to enhancing productivity, economy and reducing poverty.
She further lauded the State Government initiative,since it is intended to empower women to cultivate Cassava and yellow maize in Cross River North Senatorial District.
However, she advised the State government to spread the fantastic initiative across the central and southern senatorial districts for the sake of equity,fairness and justice.
The loan facility of N1 Billion is to be obtain from Zenith Bank Plc at the interest rate of 9% per annum,with repayment over the period of 36 months.
