The Rivers State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, has committed itself to massive mobilisation of members and other people to attend the February edition of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, GCK.
The February edition of GCK with the theme ‘Prevailing Prayers’ is holding in the Rivers State capital, Port-Harcourt from 22nd to 27th February, 2024.
Speaking after a minister’s conference held as part of preparation for the event, the Financial Secretary of Rivers PFN, Pastor (Dr.) Stanley Eshiemogie explained why Rivers PFN is deeply involved in the Crusade preparation, because it became imperative for the body to support the crusade as an integral part of expanding the Kingdom of God in this end time, and added that PFN has always given its support as it has been doing.
Meanwhile, Eshiemogie, who represented the chairman of PFN River’s State Chapter, Rev. Minaibi Dagogo Jack, said gospel ministers were gathered so that they would be directly briefed by the event organisers on preparations for the crusade.
He said: “The gathering is to sensitise ministers so that they can go and mobilise members, workers and those who are outside about the global crusade. PFN has always collaborated with Deeper Life Bible Church to hold similar events.
Speaking about the previous encounter with the Convener, he said, “We learnt a lot about revival. We learnt a lot about restoration. The meeting was awesome. I urge all ministers of the gospel to come out early to attend the meetings and be refreshed.”
The PFN helmsman averred that this month’s gathering will be better and greater, because when a Man of God comes out from the presence of God to minister, he comes out with greater anointing and power.
Speaking further, he noted that in view of the current theme of the event, Prevailing Prayers, the heavens will be opened to save the weary, heal the sick and deliver the oppressed.
He posited that at this time of uncertainty in the country and across the globe, God is the hope of the nation and by only communicating our needs to God in prayers will we have our needs met.
Also, the Rivers State Overseer, Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Andrew Osagie, expressed joy at the support that PFN has shown anytime that the Convener of GCK, and General Superintendent, GS, Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor (Dr) William Kumuyi holds the GCK in Rivers State.
“We are highly grateful for the commitment, support and unity demonstrated by the Rivers State Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, anytime the Convener of GCK, Pastor (Dr) WF Kumuyi is holding the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, GCK, in Rivers State.
“We commend the leadership of PFN where the Deeper Christian Life Ministry belongs to, and indeed, your support has translated into amazing results.
“With this meeting of gospel ministers we see another huge success ahead as also endorsed by the Almighty God as far as soulwinning is concerned”, he said.
Speaking further, he added that given the need to spread the gospel message everywhere in order to bring souls into the kingdom of God, every living church must join hands to deliver the gospel message to everyone everywhere.
He also pointed out that the GCK had become a powerful gospel event that God had used to bring many souls into His kingdom as they surrender their lives and received salvation, therefore it has expanded the frontiers of God’s Kingdom.
Meanwhile, according to him (Osagie), the programme has been held in various African countries and India with mighty healings and wonders witnessed, and that Rivers State has been very fortunate to be hosting Pastor Kumuyi for the fourth time in less than three years, and this February edition starting from Thursday February 22 and ending February 27, 2024, also have Ministers’ and Professionals” Conference with the theme ‘Staying Faithful Amid End Time Ministry Challenges slated for Friday, Monday and Tuesday, while Success Academy for Youth comes up on Saturday with the theme ‘Success Integrity’ both will hold at the Obi Wali International Conference Centre, G.U Ake Road, Port – Harcourt.
