The Executive Secretary Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission NCPC, Rev. Dr. Yakubu Pam has called for Unity and synergy in Northern Nigeria.
Rev. Pam made this call while receiving members of the Northern Nigeria Christian Politicians (NNCP) who paid him a courtesy visit in his office, at the NCPC Corporate headquarters in Abuja today, 16th March 2022.
The Executive Secretary expressed his delight for the visit while also congratulating the leader of the delegation Hon. Hassan Jonga on his appointment as the National Leader as he said “I will give my maximum support in your upcoming activities”, you need to actively mobilise Christians to come out and vote”, he added.
The NCPC Helmsman charged his guests to manage the groups vision and also do well to revive the group to its full glory. In his words, “it is time for NNCP to be revived in its full glory”.
The NCPC Boss pledged his support to the NNCP assuring that he will do his possible best to call on other top Christian Officials to support the movement of the group.
The Apostle of Peace expressed his desire for the need to build synergy between Christians in Northern Nigeria, and also stressed on the need for the group to rally round Northern States.
He further emphasized on the need to ensure Northern Nigeria remains united. In his words, “build synergy between Christians in the North and rally round to ensure Northern Nigeria remains united” He exclaimed.
Earlier the Leader of the delegation, Hon. Hassan Jonga said they were in the Commission to commiserate with the Executive Secretary on the lost of his Mother Late Ngo Zimi Pam who died in JUTH after a protacted illness sometimes back in January.
He expressed the desire for the support and contribution of the Executive Secretary in their activities, as he said “we didn’t go to any political group nor person but instead chose to come to you as a Christian spiritual Father and man of peace”.
Hon. Jonga appealed to the Chief Executive to lend his voice and give support towards ensuring that their founding vision and mission doesn’t die.
He said, it will be our desire to see that Christians in the North are not left out in the forthcoming Elections and the contributions of prominent Christian Political members are retained.
He further intimated the NCPC Boss of their upcoming inauguration and also garnered the support of the Commission.
