…as she dedicates the award to all girl child

The Special Assistant to Cross River State Governor, Sir Ben Ayade on Girl Child Education, Miss Queen Otelahu Oko has bagged the Yala Achievers Girl Child Impact Award 2021.
She was presented with the award plague in a epoch making event by the organisers of the prestigious annual Yala Achievers Awards 2021, MOJS Entertainment Limited, which held in Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State.
The award according to the organisers was in recognition of her laudable impactful projects of bringing the welfare of the girls child to the front burner and raising awareness on importance of the education of the girl child in schools across the state.
While thanking the organisers for finding her worthy of the award, expressed appreciations to the Cross River State Governor, Sir Ben Ayade for giving her the opportunity to contribute her quota to statecraft and dedicated the award to all the girl child across the state.
Oko Queen hails from Imaje in Yala local Government Area of Cross River State. A graduate of the prestigious University of Calabar and currently pursuing her Masters.
She has used here officer as Special Assistant to the Governor on Girl Child Education to reaching out and sensitization, by creating awareness on the value of the ‘Girl Child’ in Cross River.
During the International Girl’s Child day, she visited selected schools, salient girls spots and streets to educate females on their worth, personal hygiene and the need for them to aspire to do greater things beyond the domestic demand the society has placed on them.
She has been described as the delight of her friends and family, with impressive positive perception on her ingenuity, kindness, generosity, caring and humanitarian disposition. Also She is known as a real, respectful, humble lady who is making her mark in her rights, exuding confidence with an unassuming carriage.
