Project 1000 Yala Summit To Proffer Solutions To Dwindling Economic Activities

A solution driven citizens forum, Project 1000, comprising Yala urban professional youths converged Saturday to proffer pragmatic solutions to the dwindling economic activities in Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State.

The event, which holds at the auditorium of Cross River State University of Technology (CRUTECH) Okuku Campus is tagged, 1st Yala Economic Summit.

Economic activities in the Local Government Area has been on a consistent decrease for over two decades, hence the need for a summit to exray reasons behind this and proffer solutions.

According to Think Tank members of Project 1000, this historic event will proffer pragmatic solutions that would revive the economic activities in Yala.

Some eminent and illustrious sons and daughters of Yala LGA expected at the summit include, the Distinguished Senator Rose Oko, Senator Representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Comr. Wilfred Adayi, Chairman, Yala Progressive Union (YPU), Chief Paul Santus, CEO, SantusCom, Barr Alphonsus Ogar Eba, director-general, Cross River State Due Process and Price Intelligence Bureau.

Others are Hon. Bravo Gabriel Oluohu, Supervisory Councillor of Health, Abuja Municipal Area Council, Ogar Solomon, CEO, Solomon Island, Barrister Godwin Offionor, a leading Chairmanship aspirant to Yala LGA Council, Ebriku John Friday, General Manager, LEADERSHIP online, Comr. Ken Ebi, Chairman, Nigeria Youth Council and a host of other business, education and political influencers.

It is expected that this summit would advance solutions that would gainfully employ the teeming employed youths and middle aged people in the LGA.
