They inspire individuals, complement organizations and institutions to commit, to persist and to give their best, ultimately impacting the human condition.
Drawing from this philosophy, Oli Olowhu, PhD, has demonstrated in no small measure that to lift society demands bold, compassionate and direct action. This thinking underlines his recent intervention by crediting several sons and daughters of Utugwang, Obudu LGA of Cross River State who bagged First Class and Second Class Upper from the University of Calabar, Calabar.
Dr Oli, an energy sector player and community development advocate who incidentally is the President/Founder of Prince F.O Oli Foundation said the foundation was founded to immortalize his late father, promote quality education, academic excellence and provide financial aid to students in Cross River State.
He pledged to continue to support the objectives of the foundation towards achieving its optimal growth and cardinal goals.
The first set of beneficiaries are all Utugwang sons and daughters who graduated from the University of Calabar with First Class or Second Class Upper Division between 1995 to date.
The award was instituted by Oli Olowhu PhD, during the reception of his convocation of the award of Doctor of Philosophy, PhD by the University of Calabar, Calabar.
