President Muhammadu Buhari has been urged to confirm the appointment of Mrs Ibim Semenitari, as substantive managing director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
President, Niger Delta Youths for Positive Change and Progress (NDYPCP), Mr Emmanuel Enisuo, who made the appeal in a statement, on Wednesdy, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, said that as acting managing director, Semenitari had effected positive changes in the commission that needed to be consolidated with her confirmation as substantive MD. “Mrs Semenitari has been a blessing to the region.
Her appointment is a square peg in a square hole. We urge the President to confirm her appointment and also constitute the board to help her deliver on her new assignments,” the group said.
