A pro-Tinubu group, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) Advocates, Cross River State Chapter, on Saturday hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT), asserted that the process was credible and acceptable.
The Director-General, BAT Advocates, Cross River State Chapter, Comrade Raphael Odu (aka Defense), said they have keenly watched and monitored the judicial process until the day PEPT gave its judgment recently.
Odu said the judgment was in the interest of the whole nation and it was professionally delivered by the wisdom and experience of the judges.
He said: “We are very pleased with the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal judgment and we hail our leader and Father of the nation, President Bola Tinubu for this well deserved victory.
“We in Bola Ahmed Tinubu, BAT, Advocates, which is a pro-Tinubu group are saying the judges did a thorough job that gave our President the landslide victory. The judgment basically is in the interest of Nigerians and our democracy.
“We believe with this judgment putting the litigation to rest it is now time to enjoy good governance we and other Nigerians have been clamouring for and also we believe in Mr President to dramatically and drastically change the narrative.”
He also assured that BAT Advocates will continue to advocate for good governance, which entails respect for rule of law, accountability, justice, equity and fairness.
