Okadigbo Vanguard Intensifies Campaign For PVC Collection In C’River

A group operating under the auspices of Okadigbo Vanguard, comprising social activist, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), artisans, among other at the weekend said it has constituted teams to intensify its awareness campaign of the need for Cross river residents to participate in ongoing voters registration exercise and collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVC).

The Coordinator General of Okadigbo vanguard, Hon.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba,the state Director General for due process and price intelligence bureau who disclosed this to journalists in Calabar said the group launched the House to House Campaign teams in Calabar,Yala and Ogoja Local Government areas of the state.

The DG said the opposition in the state has agreed that the Cross river State Governor, Senator Benedict AYADE has delivered on his election promises, saying he promised a better cross river for everyone and has done that for all to see.

Hon.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba said the campaign for PVC collection was meant to prove a political point that AYADE is working for all.

He said they were working tirelessly to ensure nothing would change the 1 million vote targeted for Senator Benedict AYADE in the coming 2019 election.

The Director General said, apart from the performance of the governor in improving the infrastructure of the state, his handling of the state’s economy was another major reason why Cross riverians must support him and mobilizing for more votes.

He said Ayade would further transform the state if given another chance.
“In recognition of his hard work, we are going to come out in millions to support him once again through voting. Under his leadership, we have seen physical development across the state.

He also appreciated the the members of Vanguard for their tireless assurance on the mobilization of resident for one million targeted votes for the governor.
He said they were satisfied with the governor’s performance in office and would support him again.

Eba said: “I think we should take a good look at this House to House PVC campaign team set up in Cross river State today, it is for us to understand why it is being done. As we speak, it is as if the good people of Cross river have collectively decided to keep the governor on the job beyond 2019.

Simply because he has performed. All the people and groups endorsing him gave that same reason and we can all see his achievements speaking for him.”
