…Rain gifts of car, motorcycles others on supporters
Distinguished Senator Stephen Odey Ph D the current Chairman, Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board, on Friday, March 18, 2022 expressed his appreciations in a thank you message to the good people of Okani Clan in Yache Ward, Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State.
Senator Odey was personally present to deliver his thank you message to the people over their overwhelming support to the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Jude Ogbeche Ngaji in the February 26, 2022 Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency By-election.
The great gathering, which attracted notable chiefs, elders, illustrious sons and daughters of the clan, as well as women, youths, witnessed the gifts of car, motorcycles, sewing machines and wrappers to supporters to the excitement of the people in attendance.
Senator Odey as a man of his words, had urged the people to remain united with him in the APC and to also vote massively for the party during the campaign for the Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency By-election. And on their part, the good people of Okani in their usual characteristic manner listened in obedience to their son, who had returned to appreciate them.
The Distinguished Senator used the opportunity of the event to specially pour encomium on women of Okani for their uncommon resilience and steadfastness in the mobilization of voters during the just concluded By-election where the APC coasted to victory winning in all the polling units in Yache Nation.
The Okani Clan is very unique to Senator Odey because, it is his second home and mother’s birthplace.
The people were surprised with rain of gifts, Mr Paul Ogene received the gift of a new mini Toyota bus, over 12 motorcycles and sewing machines were also distributed to other committed supporters including Youths and women. The Okani committed women were given rolls of wrappers in appreciations for their dogged support.
The people of Okani Clan, comprising Osina and Mbuo were full of excitement and are happy with the exemplary leadership of Sen. Dr. Odey as they further assured him of their continued support, loyalty and commitment.
Kindly Note that today Saturday 19th March, 2022, All roads lead to Uchu-Yache where Senator Dr Steve Odey will be feasting with the entire APC in Yache Nation in celebration of the just concluded By-election victory, where the good people of Yache Ward voted massively for the APC candidate Hon.
