Nigeria At 61: In Unity We Stand, Minister Jeddy Agba Declares

The minister of state Power, Goddy Jedy Agba has said the strenght and might of a Nation is founded on unity, peace and love amongst the people irrespective of religion and tribe.

He emphasized that the the country since independent has developed and maintained a consistent adorable profiling internationally, until crime, banditry, militancy and insurgency was introduced into the country by the enemies of the state.

In a press statement issued Friday in Abuja by the special assistant on media Mr Ofem Uket, the Minister has maintained that regional groupings and the support of separatists will mean doom for the country, arguing that no Man at 61 will encourage divisions amongst his family members knowing that it is the beginning of its downfall.

Agba noted that the present administration more than any other has pushed so hard on interventions through the social investment programme, the CBN agric loans, medium and small scale enterprises which provided over 700, 000 jobs, aggressive power infrastructure programme including the Presidential Power Initiative

On the whole, this administration has spent trillions of naira on intervention on the power sector, health, education, agriculture, science and technology, water, rail transportation, social investment etc.

He called on all Nigerians to support the leadership of this country to build a greater and stronger Nation not divided along ethnic and religious lines.
