The Head of the Media Unit of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Mr Celestine Toruka was among other high profile Nigerians who received the Fellowship Certificate of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) recently in Abuja.
Aside the Fellowship Certificate, Mr Celestine Toruka also received the Practicing License Certificate as a Certified Management Consultants (CMC). This license will enable holders to practice for one year as a Certified Management Consultant and will be renewed afterwards.
According to the IMC Coordinator, Dr. Gabriel Gundu, CMC is recognized in 50 countries of the world.
The Director General of the Institute, Prof. David Iornem explained that the award of Fellowship is given to Professionals who have distinguished themselves in their chosen careers in academia, politics, government and the private sector. He urged the new Fellows of the Institute to uphold the standards, codes and ethics of the profession.
Mr. Celestine Toruka is an alumnus of the University of Jos, and International Institute of Journalism Abuja. He is a thorough bred Public Relations Professional and a trained and seasoned Journalist who has brought a lot of innovation to bear in the course of his career. He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, member of the Nigerian Union of Journalists as well as an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (chartered).
He is happily married to Dominica Toruka who is also a Public Relations Professional and a trained Journalist and blessed with children.
