The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has created new special offices in addition to the six existing zonal offices across the country.
The Executive Secretary Rev. Tor Uja in a statement informed that the reason for the creation of the special metropolitan zone is to make pilgrimage accessible and bring it closer to the people.
The following are the newly created metropolitans offices: Abuja metropolitant office, Asaba Gombe, Kano, Lagos, Awka, Portharcourt and Sokoto.
He further informed that the Commission has moved its South West Zonal office from Lagos to Ibadan, South South zonal offices from Yenagoa to Uyo, North Central Zonal has been moved back to Makurdi from Gwagwalada.
The NCPC boss has also appointment Zonal Metropolitan Heads that will coordinate the activities of the newly created Metropolitan offices.
