Women have been urged to take advantage of the Maiden Women Pilgrimage to equip themselves while in the Holy land.
Wife of the Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Pastor Funke Kasali made this known in Abuja during a strategic women meeting on the forth coming NCPC Maiden Women Pilgrimage scheduled for 28 May, 2018.
While commending NCPC for the initiative of Women Pilgrimage, Mrs Kasali said women should make use of the opportunity and benefit from the skill acquisition programme, particularly in the area of agriculture.
She noted that the women should not just empower themselves physically, but also empower their minds spiritually.
Also speaking, wife of the Executive Secretary, NCPC, Mrs Berry Uja, urged women to rise up and put themselves together for nation building.
Mrs Uja reiterated on the need to be proactive in the society and use every opportunity to be victorious.
According to her,”God will put our spirits together to put something to help this nation to move forward. We need to arise and take our place in the church, government and the market place.
“Nigeria is knotted at this point and God expects us to do something to loosen that knot so that the normal flow for nation building will start.
She added, “God is looking for women who will receive the prophetic advantage of the oracles of God and speak it over the land. Things will not change until you seek the prophetic advantage,” She said.
Women from all walks of life within FCT and environs grace the occasion. These include, Bishops, Pastors, church workers, women in industry and professionals.
It would be recalled that the journey for the first ever Women Pilgrimage to be organized by NCPC began last year September with the Women Pilgrimage Convocation held in Abuja. After then, series of strategic meetings of the women had been held with NCPC to plan and strategize on achieving a hitch free Women Pilgrimage exercise.
The NCPC Boss, Rev. Uja Tor Uja is so passionate about this special pilgrimage for women and as such the commission would stop at nothing to ensure its success.
