As part of its efforts to ensure that eligible voters are not disenfranchised in the 2019 general elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released a new portal for confirmation of voter registration and PVCs
The portal is part of the innovations being introduced by the leadership of the INEC to ensure a free and credible elections in 2019.
According to the Commission, voters are expected to visit the following portals for confirmation of their Voters Registration and PVCs:
1. http://voters.inecnigeria.org for Voter Verification.
2. http://voterreg.inecnigeria.org (use last 7 digits of VIN or DoB to confirm Reg with INEC)
3. http://pvc-directional.inecnigeria.org (direction to collect PVC once ready)
It would be recalled that in the past, issues of missing names of voters on election days have been a challenge for Nigerians and the electoral body.
However, with the new innovation, the INEC says eligible voters can now verify their eligibility as well as polling units even before elections.
