It was really fun today as the children of Oronsaye Orphanage Home were greeted with a surprise visit by Hon Eghosa Asemota Agbonifo, PDP Candidate, Oredo West Constituency.
Speaking with the management of the orphanage, Hon. Eghosa said a time like this is when children expect to be pampered and showed love. “As a father myself, I know how much love and attention my children expect from me this season, and such, I felt it necessary to express some love to these ones. They might not be my biological children, but they are members of our society, and as such it behoves on us all to ensure they are loved and integrated into the larger society.”
He went further to admonish those that have been privileged by divine providence not to always forget that there are people out there that are not as lucky as they are.
According to him, that little gift of yours can be what someone else has been praying for all year long. “That widow around the corner, that father of five that lost his job within theis outgoing year, that neighbour that is earning a ridiculously low income, all deserve some show of love in a season like this.”
He played with the children, gave them gifts, and they prayed for him in return.
