The Clan Head of Ijegu Ojor autonomous community in Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, HRH Ogamode Emri Ipuole, has approved the appointment of a Calabar-based seasoned journalist and politician, Comrade Hon Ogar Emmanuel Oko as the PRO/spokesman of the community.

This was continued in a letter dated addressed to Comrade Ogar and personally signed by the Clan Head HRH Ogamode Emri.
The letter reads, “Dear comrade, you are by this letter appointed as the PRO/spokesman of Ijegu Ojor autonomous community in Yala local government area of Cross River State.
“By this appointment, you are to interface; act, write and speak on our behalf on matters that border on public, media and publicity, and other sundry duties that shall be subsequently given to you by the council.
“This appointment takes effect forthwith.
Congratulations!”
Before his appointment Mr Emmanuel Oko is the publicity secretary of Young Democratic Party, Cross River State chapter.
