While the Igala people of Kogi East senatorial district mourns State Minister for Labour, Jame Enejo Ocholi (SAN), the Igala nation under the leadership of its traditional ruler, His Royal Highness, Agabaidu, Dr, Idawko Michael has called for cooperate prayers from all sons and daughter of Igala land in a public notice signed by the Secretary, Igala Traditional Council, Alhaji Adama Sule Oik.
Consequently, a day fast has been declared throughout the entire Igala land for all and sundry to seek God for the land. The fast is to be observered on for March 11, 2016 by all sons and daughter of Igala land.
We recall that Prince Abubakar Audu the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress dropped dead in an almost-won gubernatorial election on November 22, 2015.
Similar, last Sunday, another illustrious son of Igala land, the State Minister for Labour, Jame Enejo Ocholi (SAN) also died alongside his wife and second son in a ghastly motor accident at Kilometer 67 Kaduna-Abuja road, after Doka village.
The cooperate prayer and fast might not be divorced from the death of two of its prominent politicians in the space of three months.
