Hon. Peter Atianashie Akpanke, the House of Representatives Member representing Obudu/Bekwara/Obanliku Federal Constituency, recently attended the wedding of Enger. Mr & Mrs Timothy Adie Iduku at Assemblies Of God Church in Obudu, Cross River State on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
During the ceremony, Hon. Akpanke gave a charge to the newly-wedded couple that they should love and submit to each other to have a successful union.
He explained that as people who come from different backgrounds, there are bound to be misunderstandings, but with love and submission to each other, they can overcome them.
Hon. Akpanke donated One Million Naira to support the church-building project and also hosted the wedding reception for the couple. The bride, Nurse Precious, is the younger sister of the lawmaker.
The event was attended by dignitaries from far and near, including the state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Barr. Vena Ikem, among others.
