The founder and CEO of Opal Group, High Chief Higgins Peters has bagged the prestigious Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Service Award 2021 for integrity in Business, impactful service delivery and philanthropy.
The service award which was in recognition of his many years of sterling business dealings, community development and humanitarian services took place in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital.
The NBA Cross River State chapter (Doyen Bar) ably led by it’s chairman, Dr. Paul O. Ebiala, honoured the business mogul at its Dinner night to marking the end of the Bar week celebration in Calabar.
High Chief Higgins is noted for his efforts in community peace-building and development and influential leadership role in Yala Local Government, Cross River State and Nigeria at large.
While expressing profound appreciation to the leadership of the NBA for finding him worthy of the recognition, he said the award will spur him towards the path of excellence in business and to give more back to humanity.
