Cross River State Governor and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) South-South Nigeria, Sir Ben Ayade, Tuesday, received the newly elected state chairman of the APC, Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba and his executive committee members at the Executive council chambers, in Calabar, the state capital city.
The New leadership according to the chairman elect, Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba were in the Government House to express their gratitude to the Governor whom he described as a care giver, destiny helper, promise keeper and outstanding leader whose focus is not only on sustainable human centered holistic development paradigm but a leader whose special focus on youths development is res ipsa loquitur.
The Governor who congratulated the new leadership on their emergence as Executive committee members of the party in the state, used the opportunity to shower praises on the chairman elect and his team for their loyalty and commended their dedication towards their responsibilities.
The Governor charged the team to continue with the wonderful work of interfacing with party stakeholders and also charged them to mobilise members for party registration / CVR with a target to achieve clear victory in the upcoming bye elections in the state and the 2023 election.
In a well delivered vote of thanks, the Dep state chairman elect, Prince Eka Williams poured encomiums on the Governor for the selfless service and promised that the executives of the party will stand by the Governor under the rain and sun.
Receiving the newly elected state chairman and other executive members with the Governor are the chief of staff, Chief Martin Orim and other top government functionaries.
