The leadership of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLC), the umbrella ministry of Deeper Life Bible Church, has raised the alarm over the fraudulent activities of a scammer and impostor of the general superintendent of the church worldwide, Pastor William F. Kumuyi on Facebook and other social media platform.
The church, which stated this in a statement and made available to theleaderng, revealed that the impostor uses Facebook and other social media platforms to masquerade and impersonate Kumuyi to defraud and deceive unsuspecting members of the public with ‘fake revelations and prophesies’.
The statement further revealed that the impostor who carries out his scam with the name ‘Williams Kumuyi’ on Facebook, is asking the public to “contact an orphanage on GSM number 09036165941 for donation.”
The church in the statement said, it does not operate orphanages or call for public donations via the Facebook or any social media platform, warned the public to beware and not fall prey to the activities of the criminal.
The statement reads in part, “The attention of the leaders of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry has been drawn to the existence of a scammer/impostor on Facebook and/or other social media, masquerading and impersonating Pastor Williams F. Kumuyi, the general superintendent of the above ministry, worldwide.
“The impostor plies his scam with the name ‘Williams Kumuyi’ and feeds unsuspecting members of the public with fake revelations and prophesies, asking them to contact an orphanage on GSM number 09036165941 for donations.
“The DCLM wishes to dissociate herself from this shady personality and any other and warn the general public to beware.
