Former SSAs to Edo state government that served between 2008 and 2016 have joined other well meaning Nigerians to celebrate the immediate past edo state chief of staff, Taiwo Akerele for his meritorious service to edo state.
You will recall that Akerele serviced edo state for 11 years between 2009 and 2020 until he voluntarily resigned having risen to the position of chief of staff in the state.
Taiwo Akerele was SSA policy and economic planning between March 2009 and May 2011 before been appointed as world bank project coordinator for the state between 2011 and 2016. He later served as chief of staff between 2016 and 2020
The association of former SSAs recall his intellectual and physical contribution to the development of the state through youth employment, public sector reforms, budget reforms program and other platforms.
They also hailed him for the growth of the ACN and APC in his native Akoko edo local government and urged him to continue to be around to ensure the success of the party in the area.
They recall that Taiwo Akerele has always stood by the truth all the time no matter the situation right from his days at the UNIBEN, UI, CLO, Lagos business school and CDHR. They urged the state government to stop his continued harassment since he pleaded for privacy at this time.
