The Special Adviser on Security Operations and Surveillance to the Cross River State Governor, Mr Austin Wonor Ibu has commended Governor Bassey Otu for his proactive approach to development, particularly in infrastructure projects and security.
Wonor praised Governor Otu for fulfilling his campaign promises and advancing his People First Mantra, urban renewal agenda, peace and security which even critics can’t fault.
He lauded Governor Otu’s performance in improving security and executing developmental projects in the State, urging continued support for his administration to ensure the delivery of more dividends of democracy.
Speaking in Calabar yesterday, Wonor said Governor Otu has done so much in Cross River State in the last one year. Wonor called on the people of the State to rally behind the Governor, recognizing his exemplary leadership and commitment to advancing the People First Agenda for progress and development, peace and security.
“His Excellency, Governor Bassey Otu is doing so much to change the lives of the good people of Cross River State and to create a viable and vibrant economy in the state. The governor has done so much in the last one year to develop the state and ensuring peace and security. He has enviably transformed the state within a very short time” he said.
Wonor further said Governor Otu is passionate about the Cross River project and he is poised to bringing that passion to bear in the state in the next four years. In the last 12 months, his administration has initiated several projects that has not only improved the standard of living of residents, but has also made life more comfortable for the people by connecting the government with the governed.
The Special Adviser reiterated that he will continue to do his best to assist the Governor in fine-tuning and implementing the governor’s security policies and programmes that are in sync with the “People First Mantra” of his administration.
