The Chief of State to the Governor of Cross River State Hon. Chief (Dr) Martin Orim has been honoured with an award of excellence by the Nigeria Police Community Relations Committee.
Chief Dr Orim, who is the Chairman of GFO Orim Foundation was honoured in recognition of his outstanding and examplary services to the nation and humanity.
The award was presented to Chief Orim at the 39th Anniversary Lecture of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) held at the Nigeria Police Headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday.
Chief Orim, who was represented by Mr. Frank Ogar (SA Protocol, Abuja Laison Office) expressed his appreciation for the honour, noting that the award will spur him to do more to give back to the society and dedicated it to God, who according to him is his backer.
The event has in attendance the National Chairman of PCPC, Alh Mogaji Ibraheem Olaniyan among other eminent personalities.
It would be recalled that Hon Dr Orim is now an Executive Fellows at Harvard after his recent capacity building programme on Power, Innovation and Leadership for the 21st Century at the Harvard Kennedy School in the United States of America.
The school stated that the Senior Executive Fellows programme is “the unparalleled professional development programme for executives”.
The programme draws attendance from top US government and military officials, leading academics, and business leaders from around the world.
