The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, has announced the sighting of the Ramadan crescent in various places in the country.
Mr. Abubakar, who made the announcement Sunday in Sokoto, said Monday is the first of Ramadan signalling the commencement of the fasting season.
