In his usual criminal appetite and characteristic manner that knows no limit Jarigbe Agom has diverted National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) relief materials to Hausa community in Ogoja. The report which has been frowned from various quarters has received lots of backlashes.
Sources close to Jarigbe has revealed that he has been involved in all manner of criminal activities lately in his frantic and frustrating bid to pick the ticket of his party the failed PDP to swindle his way back to the Senate even as he continues to meet brick wall at every turn.
The latest of such criminal activity is the deliberate diversion of NEMA relief materials meant for displaced persons to Hausa Community in Ogoja, where the relief materials are not originally meant for.
The relief materials from NEMA were items from the APC led Federal Government which was meant to be distributed to victims of the recent communal crisis in Oba and Itega Okpame in Yala LGA, but the young man in his hatred for Yala decided to steal our materials.
The sources revealed that Jarigbe diverted the NEMA materials in his bid to gain their support as reports reaching him has it that the Hausa Community are not with him.
Since the news of the illegal diversion of the NEMA relief materials leaked Jarigbe has been restless and seen making calls to explain, even as officials of NEMA has expressed displeasure and disapproval to the criminal activity.
The question now is that so the over 3 billion Rivers state government largesse which was wasted in the bye election could not be used to buy rice and give to Muslims in Ogoja?
Must Jarigbe always disgrace Ogoja every day with one fraudulent practice after another?
It would be recalled that Jarigbe is the illegal occupant of the Senate seat representing Cross River North following a procured Appeal Court judgement.
The youths of Yala have vowed to ensure that Jarigbe does not go scot free this time.
