As Cross River State foremost and the incumbent Director General (DG), Due Process and Price Intelligence clocks 41 today being eight day of June – the seventh Month according to a Gregorian calendar, it is expected that he would be receiving a lot of accolades and eulogies regarding his landmarks and strides so far from well-wishers, close associates and acquaintances.
Also, wishes and prayers would be offered to God Almighty to sustain the momentum in which He (God) had started in his life 14965 days ago and much more wisdom, understanding acumen, strength and vigor be sufficient for him to fulfil that which he was brought into this planet earth for sake of mankind.
It is on this basis that I write to commemorate the birthday of an extraordinary born leader, an audacious fellow, a dogged liberationist and a pragmatic charismatic revolutionist to a fault at this moment.
Born on 8th June 1975 to Mr & Mrs Eba Ogar of Imaje Yala, CRS, Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba, the DG, Due Process who clocks 41 today is a man on numerous parts and intimidating political statue and structure.
Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba is a self made Young man of enviable independence and sound credentials to reckon with.
He bestrode the socio political and economic firmament more than a colossus and has earned respect, admiration, recognition in high and low places.
He stands tall as a natural born orator and a man of integrity whose intellectual endowment, social embodiment, economic strength and political weight has remained a reference point in public discuss.
What is amazing about this trail blazer and great activist of our time is his humility and tolerance even towards his foes .
To call him a popular man is an understatement.
To call him a generous man is an underestimation of his philanthropic gesture.
To lobby him is an insult to his person.
A man who is poised to serve his people even if it will cost him everything in his life.
Little wonder why his Imaje community saw the need to celebrate him with a resounding honour a forth night ago ahead of his birthday celebration.
At 41, the irrepressible and indomitable aide of Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade has remained one man with class, elegance and uncommon strength and character that has been an asset to his personality.
Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba is one of the greatest Youths and students Activist to have come out of our community and his 41 years birthday is therefore an opportunity to tell the world his story.
